Working with Wood Show moves to
Pietermaritzburg Kwa Zulu Natal
on the 22nd to 25th September
staged at the famous Royal Show Grounds
in conjunction with The Garden Show

The Working with Wood road show will all happen in Kwa Zulu Natal’s Pietermaritzburg popular Royal show grounds venue again this year from the 22nd to the 25th September. The Working for Wood shows have grown in popularity countrywide with Pietermaritzburg always pinned as a great venue.

“The Working for Wood plan is to have a major show in every province,” said Ryan Hunt Sales Director Vermont Sales the founders of the Working with Wood brand and shows. “We seem now to have found ideal venues for all the popular provinces and towns like Pietermaritzburg’s Royal Show grounds have always been a popular venue. We look forward to hosting our Working for Wood show here in conjunction with The Garden show.

The Working with Wood shows have quickly established themselves as leading wood working and tool shows in South Africa, becoming Africa’s most diverse Woodworking and Woodcraft event with over 2,500 visitors annually attending the shows around the country and enjoying the impactful engagement with wood.

Top South African and international demonstrators will all be at the Pietermaritzburg show to share their woodworking skills and crafts from woodturning, carving, chair-making, sharpening, pyrography, boatbuilding to furniture making. Everything timber related and eco related, from mobile milling of slabs, to fine furniture and sculptures, sustainable alternatives for the home and natural resource management displays. This show will highlight sustainable timber production and the latest tools and technology from all over the world.

The latest leading international brands will all be on display such as Tork Craft, Bessey, Triton, Pro-Tech router bits, Kreg, Festool, Saw Stop, Armor, DMT, Nes, Olfa. Felo, Rawl Plug, Alpen, GAV air products, Bondhus, Drill Doctor, Mag Switch, Spring Tool, Fixman, MPS, Josef Haunstetter and many more amazing quality international brands all be on display and will demoed by the Working for Wood team plus many demonstrations, tips, and interfacing with all the leading wood working experts.

This show is all about working with wood, and demonstrates the latest unique innovative technically advanced tools and accessories on the market today. We will have the complete spectrum of tools and solutions for the woodworking industry that includes the professional, hobbyist and all DIY’ers,” said de Villiers.
